If you’re in Northeast Philly this weekend, drop by the Mayfair Holmsburg Thanksgiving Parade to see DelCobras in person. It’s a bit of a homecoming for Marc, who played baseball in the Mayfair Shamrocks little league between the ages of five and ten.
Such fun! Hope the weather cooperates; we had an uncharacteristically rainy day here in Southern California last Saturday.

Full disclosure: I’ve never really gotten baseball. To me, it seems to be so painfully slow and difficult to score!😆
Part of it, I’m sure, has to do with my upbringing in Germany where baseball simply wasn’t a thing. I think the closest German equivalent would be soccer, which to me feels more fast-paced.
On the other hand, I do find basketball pretty impressive. Granted, unlike baseball, we did have basketball in Germany when I was a kid, though not quite at the level of the U.S. Of course, nowadays it’s different, with Germany being the current basketball world champion. I understand various former NBA athletes now play in the German league.
In any case, I hope you have a great time with DelCobras at the Thanksgiving parade. You guys are really having nice momentum, and I’m sure I’ll catch you again, either in Philly or perhaps even in New Jersey!😀
