Friends in the Philadelphia area probably know about the WXPN 24-hour songwriting challenge: Every year around this time, WXPN announces a theme and invites songwriters to submit a song within a day. The annual challenge has been going on for three years now, and the latest theme was “freedom.” Here’s the song we came up with:

Wow, 24 hours sounds really tight and doesn’t leave much time to overthink it. At the same time, I guess part of the challenge’s charm is to keep the song-writing spontaneous – well done! 👍
